This card is from SVS How to Draw Everything.
This lesson is about drawing vehicles. Some of the details of vehicles, like wheels are very hard for me, but overall, I’m getting better at it. I’m sure there are some more tricks I can learn, but I’m just winging it for now and using boxes to help me construct wheels in perspective. I did the lesson in Photoshop this time and I’m getting better at it. I went through the steps of gesture to structure to detail, and I have a pretty good example. I focused on making one finished piece instead of doing several smaller practice pieces. I could try that too sometime.
I feel like this lesson is good and I just need to keep practicing at it. Next time I will try something of a different shape, a fire truck or maybe even something like a spaceship would be a fun challenge.

This took me nearly 2 hours to complete this image from rough sketch to finish. I started on Saturday and finished on Sunday.
