Pulled: Grenbug
Rolled: 2 – practice

This turn was the first action of the game, and it kind of threw me for a loop. I needed to decide on what style I was going to use for this phase of the game. Also, what materials to use. I rolled practice for the action, which is perfect, but I needed to decide what and how to practice. I decided to use my Huion drawing tablet and Clip Studio Paint for the software. Both of which I haven’t used in a full year! So there was some frustration getting things setup again, starting to re-learn the hotkeys to get thing to work, all that sort of stuff. It took a while.
For the actual practice, I did some tracing of a doodle style that I want to try using for this phase of the project. So I did some practice of that, then drew Grenbug in that style. Exactly what I wanted to do for practice, but it took a bit!
I’m going to also start changing the Gren character a bit. I want her to change ‘costume’ based on the area she’s in, so I want to transition her more into gothic style dress with a tunic and pants, belt and sword, that sort of thing. I want to start drawing armor for her too. My sketch here is more like a tee shirt and jeans, but I’ll work on getting her there.
