This card is from SVS Figure Drawing for Illustration.

This lesson is about the flour sack model and how it can be used to simplify forms for gesture drawing. And I forgot one thing until after I was done – I should have used the eraser that was recommended. Lee said to use a flexible eraser as a model for poses and I forgot about that. I had trouble coming up with poses. Lee’s examples also had more dimensionality and looked more 3d. I’ll need to work on that more. But, these did come out well. I feel like I understood the lesson and was able to create decent poses. But, like everything it will need more practice

Next time I will work with a better model, an eraser or other bendy object for reference.
