Pulled: Make a New Character

Action: Created the new Game Card for Fendrick

Already my rules are a little confusing, and I have to decide if that’s ok. There’s apparently two ways to create a new Game card: either pulling Make a New Card and creating a new Game card from that, or pulling Make a New Character and creating a new Game card that way. Is it bad having two ways for it to happen? I don’t think so yet. We’ll see as the game continues.

It seems odd that the first two Game cards are for characters, but that’s how things came out with the cards and rolls. I thought about doing a pass on this and trying a different new card, but decided to keep going. It will all work out. I think I’ll limit myself to two of each core type for now and if this card come up again, I’ll either pass or take some other kind of action on it.

Oh, and, I practiced and planned things out in pencil first as I told myself I needed to do!

I created a new character Fendrick, a potions master, mainly from thoughts I already had. I didn’t roll for any attributes yet. I don’t know how important that will be so far. We’ll see, it’s all developing as I go.

Fendrick is a potions master and expert is use of magical ingredients. He wears a purple robe with embellishments on the collar and front edges of the robe. He’s an employee of Gren but also works independently helping others. He enjoys researching and reading about new magical uses for common items. He has magical abilities that allow him to brew complex potions.
