Grenbug

I am trying to get more detailed in my sketching and inking phase of drawing. So I’m trying to do just simple colors and no shading for now.

Woo-hoo, double digits of posting! I love having a weekly project to keep me going and keep my motivation up. Knowing that I have to post something finished on Friday really makes me keep up with my art lessons.

A word of warning – you will see many birds in my art. 😉 Happy Friday!

When I don’t know what else to do and need an fun easy project, I do these ‘color block pets’. Usually I draw birds, but I sometimes do dogs or cats too. Here’s a happy ginger kitty.

Whew, did the final drawing for Lisa Bardot’s Kickstart class. So much fun, and learned tons. I really enjoyed it.
