This card is from SVS Freaky Friday Draw Along – the Dragon Episode!

This session I warmed up with flour sack figures ahead of time, which helped! I still tend to draw what’s there instead of trying to do my own thing at first, but then I did branch out a bit and tried to make all the characters cute. And it worked! There’s lots of mistakes, but that’s ok, it’s just for fun. These are also things that I wouldn’t attempt on my own, so it really stretches my skills. The ‘mushroom dragon’ in particular is something I’m amazed at, I would not have even tried doing something like this a few months ago, and I wouldn’t have known how to make the character cuter.

Next time I will warm up ahead of time again, that helped. I also need to set my own timer so I can evaluate when to move on. I couldn’t finish all the characters, I had to skip the last one because I was too tired.
