This card is from SVS Magic of Color.
This lesson is about about color mixing, especially in trying to get good neutralized colors. As we saw in an example from class, if you are painting a strawberry, you might not use a bright red, you might need to neutralize it down, but it still needs to be in the red family. This lesson is really just the exercise of creating this 10×10 grid of color mixing. It was not as easy as it looks even in digital. It would be much harder to do in paint. This is a good one to keep working on and trying different colors, and color combinations.
Next time I will keep working this digitally, but I also need to try it with watercolor. This is a great warmup and good to learn about your materials.
Photoshop using Huion tablet.
I spent about 60 minutes to complete this image.
