This card is from SVS Magic of Color.
This lesson is about the basics of color theory including basic terms and the color wheel. Most of this is easy except for the difference of shade (adding black), tint (adding white) and tone (adding grey). It was also a challenge for me finding a brush that would work properly and then figuring out the best way to work. Originally I painted the circles and then cleaned up with an eraser, but then I figured out how to select the circle and create a clipping mask layer so I could just paint. It made for a fun, relaxing hour.
I did this exercise in Photoshop, but it would be good to try it in Procreate and in watercolor to practice there too. I think watercolor would be challenging.
Photoshop using Huion tablet.
I spent about an hour to complete this image.
