This card is from SVS Light and Shadow.
This lesson is about adding shadow to an interior scene. We are not adding lighting yet, just the shadow. Since the scene is more complicated than a single object, we need to keep things simple. This is much easier digitally since you can use things like multiply layers to quickly draw in shadows and not have to worry about changing colors for each local tone. It’s easier to work around the scene doing all the shadows (form and cast) as you go. This example is from the class project.
Next time I will work with my own project. I also need to work on selection tools better especially for things like the contact shadows.
Photoshop using Huion tablet.
I spent about an hour, following along in class to complete this image.
